Rabbi Ephraim Adler,

Executive Vice President

Rabbi Adler, a native of New York, has resided in Norfolk since 2001. While a founding member of the Norfolk Area Community Kollel, he lectured extensively throughout the Hampton Roads region and spearheaded numerous educational initiatives with the adult and youth populations. He and his wife Chaya have been married since 1999 and have three children - Pessi, Yechie, and Rivky. Rabbi Adler is employed as a C.P.A. with Goodman & Company in downtown Norfolk.

Rabbi Gershon Litt,

Director of Programming & Community Relations

Rabbi Litt grew up in Houston, TX. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Speech Communication. Rabbi Litt then attended Yeshivat Ohr Someach in Jerusalem, followed by continued rabbinic studies at Yeshivat Ohr Someach in Monsey, NY. Rabbi Litt worked as Director of Partners in Torah, New City, NY for two years before becoming Director of Programming for Aish HaTorah, St. Louis. Rabbi Litt now lives in Norfolk with his wife, Sara, and three children, Yitzi, Aryeh, and Yosef.

Rabbi Moshe Rubanowitz,

Rabbinic Staff

Rabbi Rubanowitz grew up in Los Angeles, CA. He attended yeshivot in Passaic, NJ, and Lakewood, NJ, before heading off for 9+ years to learn in various yeshivot in Israel. Rabbi Rubanowitz's enthusiasm for learning and teaching makes him a star attraction of the Norfolk Kollel. He now lives in Norfolk with his wife Kaila and their children, Yehudah Leib, Sora Rochel, Dovid Yaakov, Esther Dina, and Chaya.
